Who this trip is for

You've got a day, not a week. Maybe you're staying nearby, or passing through Jämtland, and you want to see what life up here actually feels like.

It works for a couple, a few friends, a family day out, or a team that needs a day away from the screens.

No experience needed, with horses, knives or anything else. Just come as you are.

The trip

A whole day in the forest, at the pace it sets. We start the way the day starts up here: a fire, and coffee boiled on it. Kokaffe is a small ritual, and it's the art of pause. Nothing happens until the coffee's ready.

Then out on the horses, a gentle ride through the forest with our horse partners. Back for lunch made from what's wild and local, cooked over the fire.

In the afternoon you sit down with a knife and a piece of wood and make something useful, a small Nordic craft to take home. It's slower than you'd think, and that's rather the point.

In short
