Who this trip is for

For anyone who's watched the videos and thought, I'd like to try that.

This is the life from the channel, shared with a small group. Simple days outside: finding food, making things with your hands, swimming, the sauna, and good company round the fire.

No experience needed. If you're happy walking for a few hours with a day pack, you'll be fine.

The trip

Five days in the mountains of western Jämtland. The first two nights we camp by a mountain lake. Mornings start gently, with breathwork by the water, then the days are spent foraging, learning about what grows and lives around us, and making something with your hands.

On day three we pack up and hike up to the mountain cabins for the last two nights. Same rhythm, new view: a pop-up sauna, a cold lake, food cooked over the fire, and evenings round it with people you didn't know a few days before.

It's slow on purpose. You'll learn plenty, but mostly you get time to notice things again. Nothing is forced.

Cooked over the fire and locally sourced, with plenty of what we forage along the way. Let us know about any dietary needs and we'll plan around them.

Getting there

Fly to Östersund (OSD), direct from Stockholm Arlanda, or take the train from Stockholm, around six hours. Pick-up from the airport or station can be arranged, just let us know your times.

What do I need?
